Neil Patrick Harris just sold his Sherman Oaks, California, home after a bidding war, TMZ reports. The How I Met Your Mother star put the house on the market for $2.9 million last week, receiving multiple offers above the asking price, according to the Los Angeles Times. The 4,191-square-ft. abode boasts six bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and a park-like backyard with a pool, built-in pizza oven and outdoor shower. In an unusual move for a celeb listing, the property was featured as an open house, and hundreds turned up to check it out, the Times reports. Harris, 41, purchased the home four years ago for $2.1 million. He’s shared the house with partner David Burtka, 39, and their 3½-year-old twins, Gideon and Harper. The family relocated to the East Coast as Harris took a Tony-winning turn in Broadway’s Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
