'GMA' Theme Song: 'Hello, Charlie!'

ABC News executives are mulling the idea of returning former “Good Morning America” anchor Charles Gibson to the struggling broadcast on an interim basis. No decisions have been made, but network insiders told Variety Gibson may be coming back as a short-term replacement for the man who replaced him last spring, Kevin Newman. An ABC News spokeswoman declined comment on the matter. If Gibson does return to “Good Morning America,” it would mark a turnaround from a year ago when he was viewed as a factor in the show’s ratings slump. Instead, “Good Morning America” has slid further in the Nielsens since he was dumped.
