To cap off Hispanic Heritage Month, PEOPLE sister publication PEOPLE en Español is bringing its yearly Festival to New York this weekend.
Stars will descend on the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center Oct. 17 and 18 for the fourth annual event, which is free to the public. (Click here for a complete rundown of the weekend’s events, including musical and dance performances, meet-and-greets and panel discussions.)
In addition to the entertainment- and empowerment-focused festivities, PEOPLE en Español is partnering with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to host an official naturalization ceremony for 100 citizenship candidates. Latin-American stars like Thalia and baseball star Mariano Rivera will be on hand participating in the ceremony.
Here are just a few more of the familiar faces who will be hitting up this year’s festival.
Gloria & Emilio Estefan and Pitbull
Industry vets the Estefans – whose bio-musical On Your Feet! is now in previews on Broadway – will take the stage with Pitbull and PEOPLE en Español editor-in-chief Armando Correa as part of a “Music Greats” discussion.
Plus, PEOPLE en Español is offering a deal on tickets to previews of On Your Feet!
The first Puerto Rican to ever earn EGOT status (that is, nabbing an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and a Tony), West Side Story star Moreno will join Adriana Barraza (who costarred opposite Jennifer Aniston in Cake) to talk “Inspiring the New Generation”.
Best known for her turn as pregnant Litchfield inmate Daya on Orange Is the New Black, Dominican Republic native Polanco will join a panel of peers to discuss “Latinos Without Barriers.”
