The 21-year-old appeared on Today Wednesday for her first-ever appearance on the morning news show to talk about her enormously successful career.
But while there, fashion’s muse of the moment couldn’t help but chat about how she spent her Halloween.
At first, Hadid played coy — telling host Matt Lauer that “we were all working so my friend had a little ‘girl’s night’ at her house.”
But when Lauer pointed out that Hadid’s mysterious “friend” was actually 10-time Grammy-winner Taylor Swift — Hadid was a little more vocal about the New York City affair — which was also attended by Martha Hunt, Camila Cabello, Lily Donaldson and birthday-girl Kennedy Rayé.
She revealed the ladies snacked on chips, guacamole and pizza throughout the night. “Halloween was really cool,” she shared.
The costumed affair saw Swift wearing Ryan Reynolds‘ actual superhero character from his film Deadpool — complete with the red and black mask and full suit.
Hadid, meanwhile, dressed as a member of the Cub Scouts — a costume she wasn’t originally intending to wear.
“I had a really, really intense costume planned, and then I was like, ‘Maybe I’ll save it,’ ” Hadid admitted.
Her Cub Scouts costume came together from a special piece the supermodel discovered while traveling.
” I found a Cub Scouts shirt in Japan at a vintage store,” she revealed. “I made a costume out of it!”
Also on Today, Hadid talked about what it’s like to be called an “It Girl.”
“Obviously it’s an honor to be called that,” she said. “Something I’ve just paid attention to is just being someone people like to work with. If you really touch someone on a personal level, they’ll be the ones that are fighting for you the next day at a meeting or pushing for you on a campaign. And that’s just something I like to stick too.”
“I do make a conscious effort to be that,” Hadid added, when asked if she really is as nice as she’s rumored to be.
