Just days after George Clooney and his new gal pal Amal Alamuddin enjoyed a trip together to the Seychelles and to Tanzania, the pair jetted to New York for more bonding time.

On Tuesday, The Monuments Men star, 52, was all smiles as he was photographed leaving Manhattan’s posh Carlyle Hotel with the British lawyer. The two dined at the French restaurant Rotisserie Georgette with Clooney’s Casamigos Tequila partners Rande Gerber and real estate developer Mike Meldman.

The following morning, Clooney left Alamuddin, 36, to speak in front of 200 people at the Doral Arrowwood Hotel Conference Center in Rye Brook, N.Y., about his other favorite pleasure in life: tequila. He joined Gerber and Meldman to announce that the Sidney Frank Importing Company will distribute Casamigos Tequila in the United States and the Caribbean starting April 1.

“George was awesome! He was very happy and made lots of jokes [during the presentation],” said importing company rep Kate Laufer. “George did share tequila with the employees. He’s very passionate about the brand and just happy to share his love of tequila with everybody.”
