The power couple were spotted hand-in-hand leaving Japanese restaurant Kappo Masa on the Upper East Side in New York City. The London-based attorney – who recently announced she will join Columbia this spring as a visiting faculty member and as a senior fellow with the law school’s Human Rights Institute – chose a black floral mini skirt, yellow statement-jacket and a pop of red on her lips for the occasion. The actor, 53, looked casual in a navy coat, jeans and a knit grey scarf. The pair were at the restaurant for a dinner with Ellen Barkin and Bryan Lourd. The newlyweds have been spotted in the city lately and are excepted to stick around the east coast while Amal, 37, finishes the remainder of the spring semester at Columbia and George films his New York-based movie Money Monster. George even recently took a tour of the outer-boroughs when he was spotted dining on authentic Greek food with pal Bill Murray in Astoria, Queens. Inside the Clooneys’ New York City Date Night
