Bon appétit!

George and Amal Clooney were spotted dining out with her parents, Ramzi and Baria Alamuddin, Tuesday evening in New York City.

The quartet enjoyed a cozy dinner at Caravaggio on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, trying to keep a low profile amid the flashbulbs.

Hollywood’s most glamorous couple kept it casual for their double date: Amal, 37, wore a short, floral-print black dress, while George, 53, paired jeans with a brown button-down and navy blazer.

The dinner was part of family birthday celebration for Amal’s father, according to family source. Her sister Tala also flew in from Singapore for the gathering.

The outing is yet the latest stop on the pair’s tour of N.Y.C.’s finest restaurants. Between George’s filming Money Monster and Amal’s serving as a visiting faculty member at Columbia Law School, the couple have found time to check out some of the city’s top restaurants, often inviting friends like Julia Roberts and Justice Sonia Sotomayor to join them.

“They’re having a great time in New York, both working really hard but also having fun together,” a source who knows the couple recently told PEOPLE.
