A visit from Santa for newlyweds George and Amal Clooney will likely require a surfboard.

The couple joined pals Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber to holiday this week in Mexico’s Cabo San Lucas, where the families both own adjacent homes.

Wearing beach attire – including a yellow cover-up for the ever-fashionable Amal and pink for supermodel Crawford – the longtime friends were seen enjoying a casual lunch together as they took in some holiday down time at the beach.

The Clooneys and Gerbers built an adjoining retreat for themselves called Casamigos on the Baja peninsula. It was featured in a 2013 spread in Architectural Digest.

The same name is used by Clooney, 53, and Gerber for their boutique tequila line.

The Christmas week sun and sand getaway comes three months after they all shuttled to Venice, Italy, for a long weekend of festive wedding parties as George and Amal, 36, tied the knot in a lavish wedding covered around the world.
