All the Places George & Amal's Twins Can Expect to Visit with Their Jet-setting Parents
Italy has always held a special place in George's heart – so is it any wonder that he and Amal chose one of the country's most romantic cities in which to get married? The two celebrated their September 2014 nuptials alongside close friends (including stars like Matt Damon and John Krasinski) with a weekend-long affair in Venice. That November, the two returned to London for Amal's work as a human rights lawyer. However, their stop in the British capital wasn't without any romance: they managed to sneak off to the Savoy Hotel for a romantic date night.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK
Spring meant an extended stay in the city that never sleeps for the on-the-go couple. The pair kept busy: George on the set of Money Monster with director Jodie Foster, and Amal at Columbia Law School, where she taught a course on human rights litigation. But somehow, the two made time to enjoy dinners and drinks at New York's finest restaurants: They were seen out with friends including Julia Roberts, Justice Sonia Sotomayor and Amal's parents Ramzi and Baria Alamuddin.
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
In January 2015, the couple stunned on the Golden Globes red carpet (left), she in a black Dior gown and white gloves, and he re-purposing his Giorgio Armani wedding tux. George gushed about his wife later in the night while accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award. That May, George and Amal headed back to their L.A. home to celebrate his 54th birthday, inviting 50 of their closest friends to a cocktail party at the house to mark the occasion.
LAKE COMO, ITALY
We don't know how George and Amal ever tear themselves away from their private Italian villa. The lovebirds enjoyed boat rides, garden strolls, romantic dinners and a Fourth of July bash during their extended stay at the waterfront estate in 2015, and also ventured out for cruises on George's beloved motorcycle. They left Lake Como behind to explore the Italian countryside on a late July road trip across Tuscany. The twosome stopped in the small towns of Chianti, Poggio and Cortona on a vintage Vespa moped and a 1960s FIAT 500. Pit stops at wine estates and restaurants were a top priority during the tour.
Why aren't our business trips this fun?! The couple escaped to famed party island Ibiza in Spain for an August 2015 "work trip" for the launch of George's tequila company, Casamigos. Their longtime friends, Cindy Crawford and Rande Garber, tagged along for the festivities, where they dined on the waterfront, had rooftop cocktails and feted the launch of Casamigos.
When you have a world-famous human rights lawyer for a mom, life can take you to some pretty high-profile places — like Davos, site of the annual World Economic Forum. Both Clooneys headed to the land of watches, cheese and chocolate for the 2017 event, where they attended the Women of Impact dinner and spent some quality time with former Vice President Joe Biden.
Traveling is nice, but there's no place like home. George and Amal's growing family can escape the hustle and bustle of their busy lives at their mansion in Sonning — an English town about an hour outside of London that sits along the River Thames. George and Amal were spotted going for a walk along the river earlier this year.
