The happy couple was spotted at Cipriani in Midtown Manhattan, where they met up with Justice Sonia Sotomayor for a quick drink before dinner on Wednesday evening, a source tells PEOPLE. Amal, 37, previously worked as a law clerk for the justice when she was on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. “He enjoyed, rightfully so, his own Casamigos tequila,” the source says of George, adding that the actor and Amal “were very warm and friendly with everybody and spent a few hours at the restaurant.” The Clooneys have been seen out and about in the Big Apple a lot as of late, as Amal is currently teaching at Columbia Law School while George, 53, shoots the New York-based movie Money Monster, directed by Jodie Foster and starring Julia Roberts. Ellen Barkin recently praised Amal for taking “great care” of her movie star husband.
