Four years after getting shot in the head, Gabby Giffords still struggles to speak – but that hasn’t stopped her from singing her heart out!

The former congresswoman posted a video to Facebook of her singing “Maybe” from Annie with her music therapist at TIRR Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation and Research Hospital in Houston.

“Great to be back at Houston’s TIRR Memorial Hermann and sing a few lines from Annie with my friend and former music therapist, Maegan,” Giffords wrote on Facebook. “Wonderful people work here, and they do so much to help others get better.”

This wasn’t the first time Giffords sang a song from Annie. She belted out “Tomorrow” on the Today show last January after talking about her love of singing.

“We have many clients who really can’t say a single word in terms of conversation, but they can sing ‘Happy Birthday,’ ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game’ and so forth,” Elizabeth Hoover, clinical director of the Aphasia Resource Center at Boston University, told Today at the time.
