Frances Bean Cobain has filed for divorce from her husband Isaiah Silva, PEOPLE confirms.
Cobain states in the documents that Silva – whom she wed on June 29 2014 – should not be entitled to any money from her father’s estate, which is valued at $450 million.
The filing asks that all premarital assets including Cobain’s inheritance be awarded to her as separate property.
The pair have been in a relationship for the last five years, but have kept a relatively low-profile and Cobain has not publicly acknowledged their marriage.
Cobain is said to be open to paying Silva – who fronts rock band The Eeries – spousal support.
