The new Fox Studios facility has opened in Sydney, Australia with an elaborate all-star bash to match, the New York Post reports. Australia native Nicole Kidman arrived on the red carpet with husband Tom Cruise, and the crowd of about 4,000 spectators cheered lustily. Kidman is on the mend from a broken rib, suffered recently while filming “Moulin Rouge” at the 60-acre site. A fireworks display and “Star Wars” tribute impressed most in attendance (the latter featured a humorous exchange between Fox chief Rupert Murdoch and the serial’s beloved C3PO character). Also in attendance were Cate Blanchett, Ewan McGregor, Sarah O’Hare, Charlie Sheen, John Leguizamo, Sam Neill and Shirley Jones.
