Celebrity For Bruce Willis, Award Is a Drag By Stephen M. Silverman Published on February 15, 2002 11:00 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Looking more like Madonna than he did like himself, Bruce Willis donned a wig and gold glitter bra Thursday night when he was crowned Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Man of the Year, reports the Associated Press. “I haven’t seen this many men dressed in women’s clothing since my bachelor party,” the 46-year-old star of “Hart’s War” (which opens today) joked after two undergrads decked out in drag presented him with the pudding pot. (The group’s Woman of the Year, “Sex and the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker, 36, got her pot in a separate ceremony the week before.) In keeping with tradition, members of the drama club put Willis through his paces, forcing him to re-enact a scene from his signature “Die Hard” movies. Spoofing a scene in which he ran barefoot across broken glass, Willis was forced to remove his shoes, put on a blood-stained tank top over his tux and stomp on bubble wrap. He also rode a scooter through an obstacle course and played the harmonica. “It’s solid gold,” Willis said of his pudding pot, which, actually, is made of brass. “I’m going to put it up on my mantle,” he said. As such frivolity was taking place, two Hasty Pudding Theatricals members who pleaded innocent last week still face a charge of allegedly embezzling about $91,000 from the club. Their pretrial hearing is set for March 28.
