FIRST LOOK: Jessica Alba Shows Off Her Kid- & Eco-Friendly Home
The actress brings a green touch to her "open and playful" L.A. canyon abode
For Jessica Alba, motherhood means eco-friendly living – and plenty of couch-jumping.
“It’s kid-friendly, animal-friendly,” the actress, 27, tells In Style magazine of the newly renovated L.A. canyon home she shares with husband Cash Warren and their 5-month-old daughter Honor Marie.
“You can jump on the sofas, walk around barefoot,” she says in the magazine’s November issue. “There’s nothing off-limits here.”
By using nontoxic paints and recycled furniture, the new parents – whose family also includes three dogs – pulled off an environmentally friendly renovation.
“The energy here is so inviting – it is open and playful,” says Alba. “And everywhere you look, inside and out, you get to see a part of nature.”
As for how Warren, 29, contributes to the new house, Alba says, “he’s pretty organized for a dude.”
The issue hits newsstands Friday.
