The singer recommends the franchise, but only for a, ahem, certain subset of people: "It's not very sexy, maybe for someone who has never had sex before," she said to Billboard of Shades. "I kept waiting for something exciting and crazy to happen in that red room thing, and I was like, 'Hmm, a lot of spanking.'" Well, all right then, Madonna.

"OMG it's sooooo good!!!!!" one-time movie reviewer Kardashian gushed on Twitter after her "Girls night watching a private screening of Fifty Shades of Grey!!!!!!"

It appears Simpson had some problems with Fifty Shades of Grey's casting. No worries: She gave Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan a few pointers on Instagram, where she shared a series of Escala-worthy shots of her and husband Eric Johnson method-acting some of the movie's NSFW scenes. Don't be surprised if you see the fashion designer in line at your local theater – because she's a pretty big fan of the books. She even bought a copy for her mom. "Every time she tries to engage in conversation about it, I kind of dodge the subject. I don't really want to talk to my mother about SampM!" she told Glamour.
