Camila Cabello, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke and Lauren Jauregui get up-close and personal with a handful of chiseled construction workers in the music video for their new single “Work from Home” ft. Ty Dolla $ign. “I think it’s just an overall growth genuinely – growth in the sound, growth in the attitude,” Jauregui said of the song’s grown-up sound and lyrics on Elvis Duran and The Z100 Morning Show Friday. The single is the first off the group’s upcoming second album, 7/27. “We all have grown so much since the beginning and that’s honestly why the album’s name is 7/27 as well because that’s when we were formed,” Jauregui said, referring to the date the girls were put together as a group during the second season of the U.S. version of The X Factor in 2012. “It’s all like a coming of age for us. And it’s all coming together right now,” she continued. “And you can hear that throughout all of the different tracks on our new album. ‘Work From Home’ is a good indicator of that new beginning.” “Work from Home” is available now and 7/27 is slated to be released May 20.
