Did Joey really think he could go to the park with Natalie and get away with it?

Too bad nothing gets past badass middle school girls with iPhones.

Madi Nickens, a 17-year-old from Plano, Texas, Tweeted screengrabs of her 11-year-old sister breaking up with Joey via text for his blatant infidelity, after she heard that he stepped out with Natalie even after she gave him “2 chances.” The screenshots have since gone viral, even all the way across the pond to the U.K.

We have a lot of respect for the younger Nickens sister for stating exactly how she felt about the situation and sticking by her decision to end their relationship.

Yet Joey refused to go quietly, pointing out that she was the one that bought his Starbucks drink, “so you obviously loved me a little bit.”

But the girl made up her mind – and affirmed her status as our new role model, retorting, “Ding ding ding oh what was that oh yeah the elevator cause your [sic] not on my level.”

Thanks to the new, technology-centric dating landscape, this 11-year-old could end her toxic relationship in a pinch. (Back when we were in middle school, we’d have had to wait until the next day to write a gel-pen-scribbled note – and who knows, maybe we’d have lost our resolve by then.)

As for Joey, let this be a lesson: Starbucks does not a perfect relationship make.
