The much-beloved fashion editor Elizabeth Tilberis, editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar (since 1992, after a stint as editor of British Vogue) and one of the most influential and discerning figures in the world of style, died on Wednesday at age 51 after a battle with ovarian cancer. The British-born editor was diagnosed with the disease in 1993, and a year ago she wrote a book about her life called “No Time To Die.” “The fashion world has lost a truly great lady,” mourned designer Calvin Klein.
