J.K. ROWLING'S CHAIR, $394,00
Harry Potter fans are a passionate bunch — and apparently a wealthy one too! Some lucky Potter lover paid $394,000 to get their hands on the chair which she sat in while writing the first two books in the series. It was quite a price hike from the last time she sold it, in 2009, when it went for $29,000.
DOROTHY'S WIZARD OF OZ SLIPPERS, $666,000
The Wizard of Oz is one of the most iconic films of all time, in large part thanks to Dorothy's red slippers. One of the original pairs made for the film went for $666,00 at auction.
MARILYN MONROE'S DRESS, $1,267,500
For an icon lost-too-early like Monroe, anything she touched goes for a hefty price. But it was the gown she wore to sing "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" to JFK that was really, really expensive: Someone paid over a million dollars to get their hands on it.
SCARLETT JOHANSSON'S USED TISSUE, $5,300
During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Johannsson blew her nose, as you do. But as you typically don't do, she then put in a bag, signed it, and it was sold on eBay for $5,300. Casual!
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE'S FRENCH TOAST, $1,024
Everyone loves a good piece of French toast – Justin Timberlake (and one eager fan) included. A teenage fan purchased a leftover piece of French toast off his plate for $1,024 on eBay. ”I’ll probably freeze-dry it, then seal it…then put it on my dresser,” the winner said of her new prized possession.

LADY GAGA'S FAKE NAIL, $12,000
Normally, when a fake nail fall off, you throw it away. But when Lady Gaga's intricately-painted nail fell off, one of her crew members found it and sold it for $12,000. Included is a letter of authenticity, photos of Gaga with the nail, an event staff wristband, a Gaga t-shirt and a stadium staff handbook. Good deal.
JUSTIN BIEBER'S HAIR, $40,600
Just a piece of the Biebs is a pretty pricey thing to get your hands on. Case in point? His lock of hair, which went for over $40,000 on eBay after he gave it in a signed box to Elle DeGeneres. It was all for a good cause, though: Proceeds went to the Gentle Bar Foundation.
BRITNEY SPEARS' GUM, $14,000
