Back On? Exes Wilmer Valderrama and Minka Kelly Reunite on Trip to Cabo

The couple briefly dated in 2012, but they are reportedly back on

Wilmer Valderrama is spending time with another ex.

The 36-year-old actor was spotted lounging in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with Minka Kelly. The couple briefly dated in 2012, but are rekindling their romance, a source told E! News last week.

Valderrama and Kelly, 36, relaxed on some chaise lounge chairs in the popular vacation spot on Friday. Valderrama wore black swim trunks and Kelly donned a string bikini and black baseball cap.

News of Valderrama and Kelly’s reunion comes just a few weeks after the actor snapped a selfie with former girlfriend Mandy Moore when they ran into each other at the Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles.

“Sometimes you get to work on the same lot as your friends and you can run over, catch up and watch them continue to be a bad-ass (in real life and on TV),” gushed Moore, 32, who dated Valderrama from 2000 to 2002. “Love this guy. Friends for over 16 years. Congrats on @ncis.cbs, @wilmervalderrama! Can’t wait to watch you this Fall!!”

For Kelly, the former Friday Night Lights star is no stranger to summer in Mexico. Less than a week before her getaway with Valderrama, she posted several photos of her family vacation in Riviera Maya on Mexico’s east coast.

“Take me back… #MexicoLindo,” the actress wrote in an Instagram post of the Mayan ruins in Tulum.

Valderrama was last linked to his on-again-off-again girlfriend of six years, Demi Lovato. His brief relationship with Kelly took place during one of his breaks with the singer. In June, Valderrama and Lovato released a joint message on their Instagram accounts about their amicable uncoupling.

“After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship,” the message said. “This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends. We will always be supportive of one another.”
