Evan Peters on His Relationship with On-Again, Off-Again Girlfriend Emma Roberts: 'I Just Love Her'

Though they called off their engagement back in June, Emma Roberts and her American Horror Story costar Evan Peters seem to be in a very happy place.

“She is really great,” Peters, 28, told reporters at the premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday night, adding a thumbs up when asked how their relationship is going these days.

Peters started dating Roberts, 24, in 2012 and became engaged to the Scream Queens actress in 2013. The couple ended the engagement earlier this year, and people have been speculating about their relationship status ever since. In September, the pair was spotted holding hands while running errands and Peters joined Roberts at the Scream Queens premiere a few weeks ago.

Whatever their official relationship status is, Peters’ feelings for Roberts seem pretty clear.

“I just love her,” Peters confessed. He’s also a fan of her work on Scream Queens. “I have been watching. I love it! She’s so funny in it. She’s spot-on with the character,” added Peters.

Asked if he ever sees real life glimpses of the mean girl Roberts plays on the show, Peters laughed and said, “Only when it comes to fashion. She loves fashion.”

The pair will both be seen on this season of American Horror Story: Hotel, and although they may share the screen, they don’t necessarily practice lines with each other back at home. “We haven’t yet,” admitted Peters. “I always offer. We always offer it to each other. But then we are like, ‘No, we are okay.’ ”
