Just days before Eva Longoria‘s divorce from San Antonio Spurs player Tony Parker became final in January, she spoke frankly with Allure magazine about just how difficult the split is on her.

“Every time I talk about it, I want to cry. It’s been hard. Very hard,” Longoria, 36, says in the April cover story. “I’m just trying to get through it as gracefully as possible without any drama.”

As she begins to move on, Longoria has found a new beau (Eduardo Cruz) and says she leans on her Desperate Housewives costars. “Some people collect plates and stamps and coins. I collect people, I collect amazing, smart, interesting women,” she says.

Longoria, who will star alongside Christian Slater in summer comedy Without Men, concludes, “I’m in a transition stage, settling into a new routine – and I welcome it.”
