Emma Watson has cast her spell on a new man.

The Harry Potter star, 23, has been spotted kissing and cuddling with Oxford University rugby star Matt Janney, 21, on a Caribbean vacation ahead of her appearance at the Golden Globe Awards this weekend.

Watson and long-term boyfriend Will Adamowicz split last summer.

A source told Britain’s Mirror of the romantic tropical getaway: “They didn’t have a care in the world. Matt was very protective of Emma – often putting his arm around her.”

The source added: “He was being a gentleman the whole time. He is clearly very much into her, but then who wouldn’t be? She is one of Hollywood’s hottest stars. They couldn’t stop giggling and smiling the whole time.”

The were spotted in a business lounge at London’s Gatwick Airport shortly before they flew to the Caribbean on Monday.

They couple are said to have hooked up after Matt played in the annual varsity rugby match between Oxford and Cambridge at Twickenham Stadium in London on Dec. 12. Watson, a former Oxford student, was spotted in the stands watching as Matt helped guide his team to a 33-15 victory. She then attended the post-match victory celebrations at the Ping bar in London’s Earl’s Court.

Before starting at Oxford, Emma’s new catch worked as an intern at leading law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Paris. He also studied at King’s College School in Wimbledon.

The 6’1″, 183-lb. rugby star is currently studying French and Russian at Oxford’s Oriel College and is fluent in Spanish. Looks like he’s also mastered the love spell “Amortentia” too!
