Elton John is suing his former management company (of 27 years) for a reported $33 million, money allegedly discovered missing after the singer parted with manager John Reid last year, reports Variety. John’s lawyers have issued a writ claiming breach of trust, breach of contract and negligence against the former managing director of John Reid Enterprises and against John’s former accountants. “I am a musician, not a businessman or accountant,” said John. “I have always had to rely on other people to protect my interests, and I am deeply disappointed that the people I have relied on in the past have let me down so badly.”
