Elton John, 53, launched a $29 million legal action Monday against a top accounting firm, reports Reuters. John is suing PricewaterhouseCoopers over money he claims is missing from his business empire. According to Reuters, John’s lawyer, Gordon Pollock, said that his client has an aversion to “men in suits,” so he left his important administrative matters in the hands of people who, ultimately, he couldn’t trust. The flamboyant British musician didn’t make an appearance at London’s High Court Monday, but he’s scheduled to be called as a witness during the hearing, which is expected to last up to eight weeks.
