As Tiger Woods was wrapping things up at the Masters tournament Sunday, where he finished in fourth place, his wife Elin Nordegren was spotted boarding a private jet in Orlando, Fla., solo.

“Elin’s mother is having private treatments in the U.S., ” a source tells PEOPLE of Elin hopping a flight to pay her ailing mom a hospital visit. “Even though it is paid for in Sweden, her mother had private treatments here before and really liked where she was.”

Nordegren reportedly had a carry-on bag and a large black suitcase with her, but did not have her kids along – leaving them in the care of nannies, according to RadarOnline.

Nordegren, 30, earlier decided not to attend the Masters in Augusta, Ga., where her husband made his pro-golf comeback after his November car crash and subsequent sex scandal.
