Eddie Murphy has rejoined the voice cast of Fox TV’s Claymation comedy “The PJs.” The star had angrily bailed out of the show after Fox decided to hold it back for midseason release rather than giving it a slot on the fall schedule, reports Variety. Murphy, a co-creator of ‘the controversial comedy (complaints, from Spike Lee among others, arose about its racial depictions, though TV reviewers found it hilarious), provided the voice of lead character Thurgood Stubbs and recorded eight of next season’s 22 episodes before he walked. The show’s producers used a Murphy sound-alike, Phil Morris, for two episodes, but it’s undecided as of yet whether or not Murphy will re-record those episodes.
