X marks the spot!

Ed Sheeran appears to have gotten some new ink. The “Thinking Out Loud” singer took to Instagram Tuesday to share a shot of his chest, emblazoned with a giant lion.

“Halfway done and ouch,” he captioned the photo.

According to the BBC, the redheaded Brit, 24, decided to get the new body art to commemorate his three-night slew of sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium.

“Originally I was going to get the floor plan tattooed on my side, but that seemed a bit ridiculous,” he told the overseas outlet, adding he opted for the lion instead. (It’s the English soccer team’s logo.)

Sheeran is, of course, no stranger to tattoos: He got his first in 2010 and has over a hundred, from a ketchup bottle and teddy bear to a tree and LEGO piece.

“I really only ever wanted one, and then I made the mistake of getting another, and then you make the mistake of looking at your arm and thinking: ‘Hrm, well it would look cool if this was there.’ And then you get another one,” the singer told PEOPLE last year of his ink. “They all mean specific things.”
