Drew Barrymore’s mother, Jaid Barrymore, was arrested in New York’s East Village Sunday when cops found a gun — loaded with two live rounds of ammunition — in her purse. She and a male companion, Paul Charnin, 26, who were plastering posters on signposts to promote a rock band, were booked on charges of criminal mischief and illegal postering. Barrymore, 53, was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon, for which she could be sentenced to a maximum one-year prison sentence. Her court date is July 26.
