"Justin is an excellent kisser both on- and offscreen," Barrymore gushed about her on- and off-again smooching buddy, whom she met on the set of He's Just Not That Into You. "He's the cat's pajamas," the actress later enthused about her sometimes beau.
Saying it was "the most positive relationship I've ever been in," Barrymore went on to date the Strokes drummer for five years. In 2007 she told Harper's Bazaar, "Right now I'm in a phase of 'I'm not even your girlfriend. I'm your best friend who is madly in love with you.'" But as soon as the issue hit stands, the two split.
Barrymore turned heads when she began dating – and later married – the gross-out comedian in 1999. "I want our kids to have someone to roll their eyes with when Mom and Dad are being totally lame and goofy," she told Premiere.
"From the moment I saw him, I realized he was the most incredible person I'd ever been so fortunate to meet," Barrymore told PEOPLE of Luke Wilson. The duo split a year after costarring together in 1998's Home Fries.
Barrymore was only 19 when she married L.A. bar owner Jeremy Thomas, 31, in 1994. "Usually people live together first and then get married. I guess we're doing it the old-fashioned way. Kind of," Barrymore said about moving in with her new husband. They split two months later.
