Drew Barrymore may just be working on the ultimate date movie – based on the hit book, He’s Just Not That Into You: The No-Excuses Truth to Understanding Guys, the how-to guide on helping women decipher men’s signs.

Not that Barrymore, 30, will star. She’ll strictly act behind the scenes, bringing the romantic comedy to life as its producer, for her Flower Films, says the Hollywood Reporter.

The book was optioned by Hollywood last year, says the trade paper, and its authors, former Sex and the City writers Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo, adapted the book for New Line Cinema.

As for Barrymore, while guys might not understand her, they have long been into her. Her two former husbands are Jeremy Thomas and Tom Green, and since 2003 she’s been with Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti.
