Drake Breaks the Internet with Meek Mill Diss Track 'Back to Back': 'Think Before You Come for the Great One'
The Internet has erupted in memes, using the hashtag #BacktoBack to weigh in on the Drake and Meek Mill feud
Anyone familiar with rap feuds knows that it is proper etiquette for one artist to let the other respond after a musical jab.
Drake broke the rules – and, apparently, the Internet.
In the latest of his rap beef with Meek Mill, Drake delivered a brutal blow to the “Off the Corner” rapper with his freestyle diss track “Back to Back.”
Drake, 28, attacked from every direction, asking Mill, 28, “Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour?” – referring to the rapper’s appearances on girlfriend Nicki Minaj’s Pinkprint tour.
He later added (seemingly to Minaj): “Make sure you hit him with a pre-nup.”
Naturally, the memes started rolling in. And they didn’t stop.
Instagram and Twitter users have flooded social media using the hashtag #BackToBack to make fun of Mill amid the humiliating diss.
Mill has been pretty quiet on the music front, even after Drake released his initial diss track “Charged Up” – which Mill Tweeted was “baby lotion soft.” The feud began with Mill accusing the Canadian rapper of not writing his own lyrics, which is a big no-no in the rap world.
So, Drake promptly responded with two diss tracks back to back.
Now, as we wait for the Philadelphia-born rapper to redeem himself after Drake’s jabs, the Internet is definitely keeping us occupied.
