Donald Trump sunk to new lows on Monday when he made a crude comment about Hillary Clinton getting “schlonged” by President Barack Obama in the 2008 election.

“Even her race to Obama, she was gonna beat Obama,” the GOP front-runner said at a rally Monday in Grand Rapids, Michigan, according to NBC News. “I don’t know who would be worse, I don’t know. How does it get worse? But she was gonna beat – she was favored to win – and she got schlonged. She lost.”

Trump also referred to Clinton’s delay in returning to the stage after a bathroom break during Saturday’s Democratic debate as “disgusting.”

“What happened to her?” Trump wondered. “I’m watching the debate, and she disappeared. I know where she went. It’s disgusting. I don’t want to talk about it. No, it’s too disgusting. Don’t say it, it’s disgusting. We want to be very straight up, okay?”

Clinton’s communications director Jennifer Palmieri took to Twitter on Tuesday to say Clinton’s camp would not be issuing an official response to Trump’s vulgar remarks.

“We are not responding to Trump but everyone who understands the humiliation this degrading language inflicts on all women should,” she tweeted.

Earlier on Monday, Clinton’s campaign sent out an even stronger response to Trump’s demand that the former secretary of state apologize for calling him “ISIS’ best recruiter.”

“Hell no,” Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon fired back.
