Melissa Etheridge isn’t the only celebrity who announced plans to wed on Wednesday.

After the Supreme Court’s gay rights ruling regarding same-sex marriage, Chopped host Ted Allen announced that he, too, would be celebrating by walking down the aisle.

“Proud to announce on this historic day that my partner of 20 years, Barry Rice, and I are engaged to be married,” the Food Network personality and writer Tweeted, along with a smiley emoticon.

Social media fans sent their well-wishes, including Mario Batali, who Tweeted “Yay!” in reply.

Gay marriage supporter Kristen Bell also celebrated the news online, reaffirming her engagement to Dax Shepard.

“@daxshepard1 will you marry me? Xo,” the actress wrote along with the hashtags “marriageequality” and “loveislove.”

“It’s a supremely wonderful day for equality,” Ellen DeGeneres Tweeted earlier. “Congratulations everyone. And I mean everyone.”
