Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou have called it quits after five years together, according to reports.

Hounsou “walked out on Kimora” after Simmons’s ex, hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, decided he was going to stop “funding the pair’s lifestyle,” sources close to the couple tell New York’s Daily News.

Reps for both would not confirm the rumors, says the newspaper.

The Simmonses’ divorce settlement requires Russell Simmons to pay $40,000 in child support every month for his two daughters with Kimora – Ming, 12, and Aoki, 9 – until the girls turn 19.

Simmons, 37, and Hounsou, 48, started dating in 2007 and were married in a commitment ceremony in Hounsou’s native Benin in 2008, months after Lee filed for divorce from Russell Simmons. They have one child together, son Kenzo, 3.
