Google’s gotten Dizzy.

On Thursday, the search engine is celebrating what would have been Dizzy Gillespie’s 93rd birthday with a stylized mosaic doodle of the late jazz great at Google.com.

The famed trumpeter, who died at age 75 in 1993, was also a bandleader, singer and composer. He helped pioneer bebop and Afro-Cuban jazz and was considered one of the great jazz players and teachers of all time.
