“The Caine Mutiny” and “Raintree County” film director Edward Dmytryk, 90, a member of the Hollywood Ten who served prison-time during the witch hunts of the ’40s Red Scare and was blacklisted until he named names of his Communist comrades, in Los Angeles, Thursday. Dmytryk had been ill for a year and succumbed to heart and kidney failure.
