Diana's Ex-Lover Cashes In

Princess Diana’s former lover, James Hewitt, is reportedly auctioning the newspaper rights to his memoirs of their affair — which took place in the early 1990s — for more than 500,000 pounds ($807,500). Hewitt, a former cavalry officer who Diana admitted had been her lover, is currently negotiating with the Britain’s Mail Sunday and the News of the World over the rights, the Sunday Telegraph said. He will apparently rely solely on his memory to narrate his tell-all; he is barred legally from reproducing the 64 love letters he received from the late princess, the paper said.
