Having met in Israel last year, it was only fitting for James Van Der Beek and Kimberly Brook to return to the country to say their “I Dos.”

The former Dawson’s Creek star, 33, and Brook were married Sunday in Tel Aviv in “a small spiritual ceremony surrounded by a few close friends and teachers,” his rep says in a statement.

For the intimate gathering, Van Der Beek suited up in Armani while his bride wore a vintage creation by Shareen.

“Best day of my life so far,” he Tweeted on Sunday, before adding, “The woman I love did me the honor of [becoming] my wife today I look forward to earning her for the rest of my life.”

No word on the honeymoon, but Van Der Beek and Brook have something else to look forward to: Parenthood. They’re expecting their first child together and revealed they’re having a girl.
