Demi Moore Is in a Treatment Facility: Source
The actress, who was recently hospitalized, is getting help in Utah, according to new reports
According to a source close to the situation, the actress is in a facility and not at home still in Los Angeles, as some have speculated.
On Saturday, E! News reported that Moore, 49, checked into Cirque Lodge in Utah the week after her Jan. 23 hospitalization.
“She’s on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people,” a source tells E!, adding that the actress is being treated for addiction and an eating disorder.
A 911 call from Jan. 23 revealed that Moore had smoked a substance “similar to incense” and that she was “convulsing,” according to the female caller. Paramedics who responded assessed the actress, then took her to the hospital.
Moore, who underwent rehab for drug and alcohol abuse in the mid-’80s, has been going through a rough time lately.
“Really, it was over the last year her friends saw a change,” a source recently told PEOPLE. “She wasn’t sleeping as well, didn’t seem to be eating and looked really gaunt.”
