Seeking treatment for “exhaustion,” the star has drawn support from her circle of longtime friends, including Hollywood floral designer Eric Buterbaugh – who was spotted outside the hospital with Moore’s oldest daughter Rumer Willis, 23 – and British photographer Amanda de Cadenet. De Cadenet, who is partnering with Moore to produce the upcoming Lifetime interview series The Conversation, appeared to Tweet her encouragement to Moore on Thursday, writing, “Crisis = Opportunity.” Also Tweeting support: Eva Longoria, who wrote to @mrskutcher, “sending my love and support to one of the most beautiful people i know.” But it has been Rumer who has most often been seen at her mother’s side in the months since the actress’s split from Ashton Kutcher, 33, after six years of marriage. In December, Rumer – whose dad is Moore’s ex, Bruce Willis – and her mom partied poolside at the Parrot Cay resort in the Turks and Caicos, and on Jan. 11 they shared a late night out together at L.A. hot spot Beacher’s Madhouse. “Rumer’s spent more time with her mom in the last few months than she has in a while,” says a source. Other close friends in Moore’s circle include actress Soleil Moon Frye, producer Heather Parry, Madonna and her manager Guy Oseary, as well as Kabbalah leaders Michael and Yehuda Berg and spiritualists Laura Day and Peggy Rometo. As Moore continues to undergo treatment, those who know her continue to express their concerns for her health. Says a friend, “She’s in a bad place.” • Reporting by ELIZABETH LEONARD, K.C.
