Demi Lovato is mourning the loss of another pet, her dog Spawn.

The 23-year-old singer took to Instagram on Sunday to pay tribute to her beloved companion.

“I miss you so much already beautiful boy … When I first met you 6 years ago, I was intimidated by your size and your strong presence,” Lovato wrote of the pooch, alongside a snap of Spawn cuddling up to the singer.

“But as I got to know you, I learned you were just one big teddy bear.”

In the lengthy caption, the “Cool for the Summer” singer recalled the way Spawn greeted her at her car when she arrived home, adding, “all the sneezes, the runny noses, even the occasional hives … They were all worth it with you.”

Boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama also remembered the pooch on his own Instagram. The 35-year-old actor shared two posts of Spawn.

One picture seemingly shows Valderrama’s hand on the dog, accompanied by a lengthy caption.

“Yesterday, I said goodbye to my handsome boy Spawn, this year has been quite a roller coaster,” Valderrama wrote. “Lots of emotions and lots thresholds crossed. This boy was there for it all.”

He posted another photo of himself playing with Spawn’s nose. He captioned the snap: “Thinking of how loving you were my handsome boy … I miss you Spawn.. #RIPSpawn Part2.”

Over the summer, the pair lost another dog, Buddy, in a “tragic accident.” The singer broke the news on Twitter in July, but did not give specifics as to the cause of death. (She introduced fans to puppy Batman in August.)

Lovato mentioned Buddy in her Instagram post about Spawn, writing, “I’m going to miss the way you were so protective of Buddy and Batman and never got annoyed with them when they were excited hyper puppies.”

“The only thing that brings me comfort in this situation is knowing that Buddy is probably really happy he now gets to play with his big brother in Heaven,” she wrote. “We love you so much Spawn.”
