Wilmer Valderrama rang in his 36th year with the help of some furry friends over the weekend

Demi Lovato accompanied her boyfriend of six years to the Wolf Mountain Sanctuary in Luverne Valley, California, on Saturday, to celebrate and mingle with the shelter’s residents.

“Spent the day at Wolf Mountain sanctuary,” Lovato, 23, wrote on Instagram. “It was unbelievable. I fell in love with the wolves there and wish I could spend more time with these beautiful, spiritual creatures.”

The singer shared a slew of photos from the trip, including an adorable selfie with one of the “wolfettes.”

Lovato’s younger sister, Desperate Housewives Madison De La Garza, also joined in on the visit, posing for a picture with the star.

“Look at how handsome the birthday boy is…” Lovato wrote of Valderamma, who made friends with one of the animals.

She later added, “Still can’t believe how incredible yesterday was… such beautiful, sweet spirits.”
