Want a marketing campaign to work? Get David Beckham to disrobe. Here he strikes a sci-fi pose for his latest ad campaign.

Showing his pecs-appeal, he appears with a glowing red eye in Terminator-style half man, half-robot futuristic pose.

Shot in Milan, where Beckham, 33, is currently playing for one of the city s soccer teams, it is his latest campaign for cellphone maker Motorola.

A behind-the-scenes movie of the shoot has been posted on YouTube.

In a statement, Beckham says he loves classic watches, “so a phone that exposes its mechanics while also being so stylish is really unique. Motorola always seem to come up with something different, a concept that no one else has, and they’ve certainly done that again with AURA.”

Beckham is playing in Italy until the end of the European season in June, after which he will return to the U.S. where he will play for the L.A. Galaxy in what some reports have called a “timeshare” agreement. He and his wife, Victoria and the couple s three sons – Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 4 – are very happy with life in L.A. where the boys are settled in school.

The family has made many celeb pals in the city and Victoria marked her 35th birthday Friday with a party at Hollywood’s Cecconis joined by Katie Holmes, 30, and Eva Longoria Parker, 34.
