Proving once again that he’s more than just a pretty face, David Beckham recently traveled to Africa to visit children living with HIV, who are receiving support from his charity 7 and UNICEF.

The longtime Goodwill Ambassador shared a sweet photo from his visit, in which he’s sitting and smiling with a young boy in his village.

“Had an inspiring time in Swaziland with @unicef,” Beckham wrote in the caption. “To see how how my 7 Fund is supporting children living with HIV.”

Beckham launched 7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund last year to raise funds and awareness for vulnerable children by focusing on seven different countries and seven different initiatives. The name of the charity is a nod to Beckham’s lucky number on his football shirts as well as for his and wife Victoria Beckham‘s daughter Harper Beckham, whose middle name is Seven.

PEOPLE’s reigning Sexiest Man Alive has said that he’s proud to share his charity work with his children and even more so that they’ve shown an interest in the work.

“They understand and respect it,” he said. “I’m proud to tell them what I’m doing, and I think it makes them proud as well.”
