David Arquette‘s wedding to Christina McLarty on April 12 was – in his own words – “amazing.”

“It was such a wonderful memorable night,” the executive producer of Celebrity Name Game, 43, tells PEOPLE. “All of our families and friends came together and just had a great time.”

For Arquette, the highlight of the whole evening was the exchanging of the vows.

“The best part is just saying ‘I do’ and committing and kissing my new bride,” he says.

The Los Angeles ceremony featured a very special musical performer: Arquette’s 10-year-old daughter from his previous marriage to Courteney Cox, Coco.

“Coco sang two songs,” the actor shared. “She sang ‘Love Me Tender’ and just was so wonderful. I was so proud of her. She’s an incredible singer. She was so impressive.”

The couple not only exchanged rings, but also got matching tattoos on their ring fingers to celebrate their nuptials.

And the celebrations aren’t over – the newlyweds are set to go on a multi-part honeymoon in the near future.

“We’re going to the Kentucky Derby, and then we’re going Charleston, South Carolina, to meet with the Southern Charm, people because we love that show,” Arquette says. “We met them when we went down there last time. And then we’re going to go to Costa Rica.”

Arquette and McLarty, 33, got engaged last year, and have an 11-month-old son, Charlie West, together.
