It was all about baby talk when mom-to-be Daphne Oz caught up with new mom Hilaria Baldwin at the Big City Moms Biggest Baby Shower in New York City on Wednesday.

The Chew host, 27, who revealed in September that she was expecting her first child with husband John Jovanovic, became “fast friends” with Hilaria, Alec Baldwin’s wife, as they talked about pregnancy and all things baby, an insider tells PEOPLE.

Baldwin, who is a yoga instructor, has snapped back into shape since giving birth to the couple’s first child, a girl named Carmen, in August.

“Hilaria was overheard giving Daphne baby advice and explaining how she was able to get her body back in shape,” the insider reveals.

Baldwin, 29, “was in great spirits and seemed happy to put Alec’s trial” – involving his alleged stalker, who was sentenced Thursday to six months in jail – “out of her mind and enjoy the evening with hundreds of other new and expectant moms.”
