A new behind-the-scenes photo shows the former Downton Abbey actor looking anything but beastly, smiling as he sports blonde wig that reaches his shoulders. Co-producer Jack Morrissey posted the photo on his Facebook page Friday, noting that the sneak peek comes “one year to the day after the completion of principal photography.” He adds, “Here is your very first look at Dan Stevens as the Prince/Beast.” Morrissey didn’t stop with the teasers there. The producer also shared photos of Luke Evans as Gaston and Josh Gad as his sidekick LeFou during the antagonist’s musical number in the film. There’s also a look at Evans practicing a dance number with conceptual art in the background. Cate Blanchett Says Cinderella Has Great Message about Bullying As for the non-human characters in the film, Morrissey gave a hint of what candelabra Lumiére (Ewan McGregor) and his pal Cogsworth (Ian McKellen) will look like in the film. “These designs are close but may not be final,” the producer wrote. Morrissey teased that the images will be included in a special sneak peek that will be released next month with the 25th Anniversary Edition of Disney’s 1991 animated Beauty and the Beast. Emma Watson stars as Belle in the film directed by Bill Condon that’s scheduled for a 2017 release. The rest of the cast includes Stanley Tucci, Emma Thompson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Kevin Kline and Audra McDonald.
