Well, this is original!

Britney Spears is using a novel method to give fans an early listen to her new single: today only, select folks in Los Angeles will be able to hear “Pretty Girls” – her collaboration with Iggy Azalea – by jumping into an Uber car that is wrapped with some Britney Spears signage.

For six hours, starting at 3 p.m. PT, the select cars will be playing the song (which comes out Monday). Fans will also get a chance to win tickets to her Las Vegas show.

“For an artist of Britney Spears’ caliber, you have to make a new single release an event,” says Val Pensa, a marketing executive for the singer’s label RCA.

Spears, 33, has been recuperating at home since taking a tumble earlier in the week while performing. Despite finishing her show, her doctor later advised her to not perform during the weekend so she could heal properly.

She was in good spirits about the situation though, sharing a pic of herself on Twitter that showed her injured leg encased in a brace.

“This boot was made for walkin,’ ” she wrote.
